Celebrity Hosts, Judges and Food Network Stars to Present

The Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival is New York City’s premier culinary event. The Festival will celebrate 15 years this October 13–16, 2022, with more than 80 events and over 400 chefs from around the world. A variety of tastings, seminars, intimate dinners, late-night parties and more will take place at locations across the city with 100% of the net proceeds supporting NYCWFF’s mission to EAT. DRINK. “This year’s event offers a variety of opportunities for fans and the industry to come together and celebrate,” noted Festival Founder & Director Lee Brian Schrager. “In addition to a lineup anchored by renowned chefs along with beloved culinary and lifestyle personalities, the 15th annual Festival will be our most diverse lineup to date.”

A plethora of unique, one-night-only collaborative meals hosted by some of the world’s most critically acclaimed chefs and paired with a variety of high-end wines and spirits from the Festival’s exclusive provider, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, make up this year’s revamped Intimate Dinner Series. Participating chefs and personalities include Alain Ducasse, Dario Cecchini, Alon Shaya, Carlton McCoy, Lauren Von Der Pool, Yotam Ottolenghi, Dani García, Chintan Pandya, Sohla El-Waylly, Daniel Boulud, Kyle MacLachlan and many others.

Robert Irvine, Andrew Zimmern, Carla Hall, Duff Goldman, Alex Guarnaschelli, Marcus Samuelsson, Geoffrey Zakarian, Katie Lee and Anne Burrell are among the celebrated chefs slated to take the stage in front of a live audience at the Festival’s 135,000 sq. ft. culinary playground, Grand Tasting featuring Culinary Demonstrations presented by Liebherr Appliances at Hudson River Park’s Pier 76.

On Friday, October 14, an esteemed panel of celebrity judges including Peloton instructor Ally Love, Super Bowl Champion and former New York Jet Willie Colon, television host Adam Richman and Emmy Award winner and host of WNBC’s New York Live Lauren Scala will blind taste more than 20 of the county’s top burgers to decide who will be crowned the Pat LaFrieda’s 2022 NYCWFF Burger Bash® Champion.

Industry City will anchor the Festival’s expansion into Brooklyn. Anne Burrell is set to host the ever-popular Mohegan Sun’s Aperitivo happy hour while Michael Symon leads Flavors of the Mediterranean presented by The Botanist – a brand-new event featuring a collection of New York City’s finest Mediterranean restaurants – both part of the LIVEHAPPilly series presented by illy caffè. The fan-favorite Ultimate Pizza Party hosted by Buddy Valastro will return to Fornino in Brooklyn Bridge Park and showcase wood-fired pies baked by master pizzaiolos in Marra Forni ovens perfectly paired with a wide variety of refreshing beer, wine and cocktails. Brunch with Michael Solomonov at his new outpost, Laser Wolf Brooklyn, will feature a special performance by SNACKTIME, a seven-piece, brass-heavy band out of Philadelphia. Rounding our offerings in the borough is a Dinner with Anthony Ha and Sadie Mae Burns with cocktails by St. John Frizell presented by Eater at Brooklyn stalwart Gage & Tollner.

Ben Soffer, aka @boywithnojob and Founder of Spritz Society, will host a new, late-night event – Cocktails with a Twist – where guests can sip on modern renditions of all the classics made with highlights from SGWS’s craft spirits portfolio. On Saturday, October 15, the city’s top bars from all five boroughs will duke it out during Battle of the Boroughs: A Cocktail Showdown presented by BACARDÍ hosted by The Try Guys, the internet’s favorite explorers and hosts of No-Recipe Road Trip with the Try Guys. Jenny Mollen, actor and New York Times bestselling author will host Rooftop Rosé at the newly opened RT60 Rooftop Bar & Lounge at Hard Rock Hotel New York.

Between NYCWFF and its sister festival SOBEWFF®, which takes place each February in Miami Beach, more than $48 million has been raised to benefit the respective charitable partners of each Festival. Beyond the funds raised, both Festivals draw attention to the vibrant dining cultures of their host cities, provide economic stimulus in their communities and serve as a platform to drive awareness and engagement for a wide array of philanthropic activities.
