Celebrity Guests Scheduled to Attend Include Janet Jackson, Bella Hadid, Maxwell

Just a few years ago, GRAMMY Award-winning singer and choreographer Paula Abdul celebrated the official opening of her headlining residency show, Paula Abdul: Forever Your Girl, at Flamingo Las Vegas. Spotted in the audience on opening night were several of Paula’s celebrity friends and fans, including Caesars Entertainment headliners Wayne Newton, Penn Jillette and Mat Franco as well as Kathy Griffin, Frankie Grande, Jen Atkin, Kathy Hilton and others.

The dazzling production took the audience on an intimate journey, as Abdul pulled the curtain back with never-before told stories from her humble beginnings as a performer and choreographer, to her meteoric rise in the entertainment industry. Throughout Paula’s 10 glitzy costume changes, Abdul thrilled her audience with spectacular visuals, choreography, humor and heartfelt showbiz anecdotes, reminding audiences why she is Forever Your Girl. Abdul collaborated with Emmy Award-winners Nappytabs on the show which features a cast of 10 dancers. The 90-minute production also showcased some of her global hits including “Straight Up,” “Opposites Attract,” “Cold Hearted” and of course, “Forever Your Girl.”  

After the show, a private party was held at Interlude Casino Lounge at The Cromwell. There, Abdul and friends stepped onto a red carpet before dancing the night away and celebrating at the official after party.

Now, Abdul joins the festivities at QATAR CREATES, celebrating the diversity of cultural activities in Qatar. The week-long festival features the unveiling of monumental public art installations for the Art Mill Museum and the Lusail Exhibition, as well as the inauguration of Qatar’s Northern Heritage Sites.

The presentation of the reinstalled Museum of Islamic Art will be followed on consecutive days by the world renowned Fashion Trust Arabia Award Ceremony, the opening of Forever Valentino Exhibition, and crowned with the Naomi Campbell “EMERGE” Fashion Show and Charity Gala tonight, where iconic international star Paula Abdul presents the Debut Talent Award to one of the nominated outstanding emerging fashion designers, along with Middle East acting superstar Youssra. Paula is the guest of Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of the Qatar Museums and Doha Film Institute.

Others scheduled to attend are Janet Jackson, Bella Hadid and Maxwell. It was a lovely reunion for Paula and Janet Jackson, for whom Paula did choreography at the height of her career. Paula says of her visit, “I am thrilled and honored to be here amid the beauty of this country and its people. It is also wonderful reuniting with old friends.”
