Hawaii will reopen to tourists on October 15, but it comes with a set of requirements that must be adhered to or risk a 14-day quarantine.

The chart below lays out the basics Hawaii.

Travelers will also have their temperatures checked upon arrival and must fill out a travel and health form (See Safe Travels Below). Upon arrival in Hawaii, passengers unable to provide proof of an approved negative test will be required to go into quarantine for 14 days or until they can provide proof of negative test results.

Consult the Hawaii Tourism Authority for a step-by-step guide to Hawaii’s entry requirements.

Pay special attention to “state-approved COVID-19” test under rules set by the Hawaii Department of Health.

Travelers will be able to upload their negative test results when they complete their travel and health forms on the Safe Travels digital system, but play it safe and bring paper copies with you for inspection.

Remember, these requirements are fluid and subject to change so check back with Hawaiian authorities frequent at Hawaii Tourism Authority.
