Our guest is lawyer turned travel blogger Jen Ruiz. She challenged herself to do 12 trips in a 12 month time span and actually wound up doing 20 trips, all while employed full time. Her journeys took her to Greece, Argentina, Thailand and Iceland to name a few, and did it all before she turned 30.
She has been featured in the Washington Post, ABC News and The Huffington Post as a budget and solo travel expert. Jen’s a best selling author for her debut book, The Affordable Flight Guide: How to Find Cheap Flights and See the World on a Budget in 2018. She’s gone on to write several more books which we discuss throughout the podcast with tips and how to advice on solo travel and becoming a digital nomad. Jen’s success as a travel guru allowed her to hang up her legal shield. In addition to her travels, Jen is a noted public speaker having appeared on TedX numerous times.
