Our guest is award winning journalist and travel writer Ruksana Hussain. Originally from India and raised in Oman, Ruksana shares her perspective on travel in America. It’s a fantastic journey of discover. She previously lived in Atlanta and now resides in Los Angeles. She is the founder of the online magazine Traveler and Tourist where she pens wonderful stories on her travels and cultural experiences. We discuss everything from road trips and small southern towns to Alaska snowmobiling and viewing the northern lights, to attending Mardi Gras. You’d be surprised what Ruksana sees that the average American takes for granted and the differences between east and west coast living.
