He is one of the top aviation experts in the world. He previously worked eight years at the National Business Aviation Association in Washington DC and four years at the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Prior to his recent stint in aviation, Mickens was heavily entrenched in the world of television producing special projects and covering awards shows like the Oscars, the Emmy’s and the Grammy’s. He is a Navy veteran, husband and father of three beautiful adult girls, two of whom are still in college.
