The Hawaiian Islands is easily one of the most beautiful and unique places on earth. As the pandemic wanes, at least domestically, we thought it would be a good time to take a journey to paradise with our friend and travel writer extraordinaire, Katherine Parker Magyar. She made her third trip to Hawaii just before the pandemic shut everything done. She’s visited seven of the eight islands and shares her perspective on what makes The Aloha State so special. From Kauai to Maui, Molokai to Oahu this is a must listen for those of you considering a Hawaiian vacation. This podcast goes beyond the mundane. We do a deep dive on everything Hawaii—its natural beauty, culture, cuisine and more.
So I would say Kauai is adventure. The Big Island is nature. Maui is like the Beverly Hills of the Hawaiian Islands…I say Oahu is the New York City of the Hawaiian Islands, with nightlife and these amazing art galleries. Lanai is like romance…And then lastly, I would say Molokai is where you want to go for culture because that island is not as influenced or impacted by the tourism industry.
Katherine Parker Magyar has pretty much seen and done it all, yet she still plans to explore that planet as soon as the pandemic permits. She’s been a guest on our show twice before and always brings her enthusiasm with her. Katherine has visited six continents and over 60 countries. In fact, her first traveling experience occurred at 14-months-old to the Arctic Circle. Her works have appeared in such vaunted publications as Architectural Digest, and Forbes, and we are proud to announce she will become a permanent part of the TripCast360 family.
