Caribbean Airlines, the national carrier of Trinidad and Tobago, has announced that it will offer direct flights between Port of Spain and Miami for the Carnival season in 2024. The airline said that the service will cater to the high demand for travel to the Caribbean’s largest cultural festival, which attracts thousands of visitors from around the world every year.

The flights will operate from February 1 to March 5, 2024, with four weekly departures on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight time is approximately four hours and 15 minutes, and passengers will enjoy the airline’s signature hospitality and entertainment options on board. The airline will also offer special fares and packages for Carnival travelers, as well as flexible booking and cancellation policies.

Miami Carnival

Caribbean Airlines CEO, Mr. John Smith, said that the new service is part of the airline’s strategic plan to expand its network and offer more connectivity to its customers. He said that Miami is a popular destination for Trinidadians and Tobagonians, as well as for tourists who want to experience the vibrant culture and music of Carnival.

“We are delighted to launch this service, which will provide a convenient and affordable option for travelers who want to join the festivities in Trinidad and Tobago. Carnival is a unique and unforgettable experience, and we look forward to welcoming our guests on board our flights,” he said.

He added that the airline is also proud to support the local economy and culture by promoting Carnival to a wider audience. He said that the airline will partner with various stakeholders, such as the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Arts, the National Carnival Commission, and the Trinidad and Tobago Tourism Board, to showcase the best of Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival.

Caribbean Airlines also offers flights to other destinations in the Caribbean, North America, South America and Europe. The airline has a fleet of 17 aircraft, including Boeing 737-800s and ATR 72-600s.
