A previous post here on TripCast360 — Need to Decompress? Try the Caribbean – Several Destinations Are Open to Visitors With Restrictions, included Aruba. The American state you reside in determined the level of health screening necessary to enter the country. Starting Sept. 24, The Aruba Tourism Authority announced enhanced screening of U.S. citizens from the following states.

• Kentucky
• Maryland
• Minnesota
• Missouri
• Nebraska
• North Dakota
• Pennsylvania
• Virginia

While those states have been added to the high risk category, all is not lost. Several states are being removed from enhanced screening. Those states are Alabama, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon and Texas.

The new requirements essentially mean you’ll need to upload a negative Covid-19 test 12 to 72 hours before arrival. For a complete explanation of Aruba’s entry requirements visit Aruba.com.
